Last time Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley met in the ring, Bradley was announced the winner. Many fans around the world were shocked and were in disbelief of the result. On Saturday April 12, the two met again. This time there was no doubt in anyone’s mind on who won. Pacquiao avenged his lost and is now the WBO welterweight champion of the world.
Before the bout took place Timothy Bradley told the media that he would be going for the knockout. After the first bell toll of the first round we realized Bradley was a man of his word. Bradley was swinging for the fences. In the 4th round Bradley was able to buckle Manny Pacquiao, but failed to deliver on his KO trial.
After about 6 rounds of action it seemed Bradley lost steam on all his punches. He was no longer able to back down “Pacman.” Throughout the second half of the fight Manny Pacquiao dominated almost all the remaining rounds. Showing the speed and tenacity of the vintage Pacquiao.
With 12 seconds to go Manny Pacquiao suffered a cut above his left eye that would require 32 stitches after the match. Despite being cut and fighting a tough competitor, Pacquiao would be the victor with unanimous decision over Timothy Bradley.
Rumors are already spreading that Manny’s next opponent could be the winner between Juan Manuel Marquez vs Mike Alvarado.
