In the co-main event “The Filipino Flash” Nonito Donaire let a past foe try to seek vengeance as Donaire faced Vic Darchinyan. Filipino Flash started slow and cautious, but “The Raging Bull” was scoring on Nonito for about the first 5 rounds of action. Nonito Donaire finally picked up the pace. The biggest round for Donaire came in his winning round when Donaire sent Darchinyan to the mat with a “flashy” left hook. Vic Darchinyan would rise for more, but his legs were gone. Nonito Donaire sensed Vic Darchinyan’s legs were gone and went in for the kill. Donaire continued to land heavy blows until referee Lawrence Cole halted the contest making Nonito Donaire the victor via 9th round TKO.

Nonito Donaire looks for a ¬†rematch with Max Kellerman’s boy Guillermo Rigondeaux while Vic Darchinyan may call it a career.

The main event had baby brother of Robert Garcia, Mikey Garcia fighting Roman Martinez. Mikey Garcia was caught by a right cross he walked into sending Garcia to the Canvas. Mikey Garcia knew he made a mistake and never seemed phased the punch. Mikey Garcia dominated the fight with the exception of the 2nd round.
