Nonito Donaire (31-2, 20KOs) will face Vic Darchinyan (39-5-1, 28KOs) once again on November 9. It is possible the event will take place in Corpus Christi, Texas at the American Bank Center.

Nonito Donaire who was in the top 5 pound-for-pound rankings suffered the 2nd loss of his career at the hands of Guillermo Rigondeaux. A shocker to the majority of the boxing public. Since his defeat Donaire recently became a father for the first time and has been low key on who he will face next.

Vic Darchinyan suffered his first loss at the hands of Nonito Donaire in 2007. The win boosted Donaire into must watch boxing television. Since the defeat, Darchinyan went on to lose four more times in his career, but his loss to Nonito Donaire is the one he always wanted vengeance on. Now Darchinyan will get his chance.

The rematch between the two will serve as a big step for both men as Donaire looks to rebound and Darchinyan looks to save his career. It has been 6 years since these two last were in the ring together.

Top Rank is in plans to make it a big night for boxing. The Nonito Donaire vs Vic Darchinyan is part of a triple-header fight card. We our also expect to see Vanes Martirosyan (33-0-1, 21KOs) fight undefeated Demetrius Andrade (19-0, 13KOs) and Mickey Garcia (32-0, 27KOs) take on Rocky Martinez (27-1-2, 16KOs).
