Adonis Stevenson: Twice as Nice

“Superman” is set to return this year not once, but twice. Adonis Stevenson plans to return to the ring in September and also at the end of November. After coming off a super sensational win against Chad Dawson, Stevenson looks to keep busy for the rest of 2013 although nothing is official only agreed terms with no contracts signed.

If everything goes as planned Adonis Stevenson will find himself fighting Tavoris Cloud on September 28. Tavoris Cloud suffered the first loss of his career to the living legend Bernard Hopkins back in March. If Cloud shall face Stevenson, Tavoris Cloud will have another title shot after just recently losing his strap. This fight will take place in Montreal, Canada of course.

It seems if the fight with Tavoris Cloud does happen that Adonis Stevenson is already looking past him as a fight on November 30 with Tony Bellew is already being verbally agreed upon. Tony Bellew’s only loss was a close decision lost to Nathan Cleverly in October of 2011. Bellew suffered a draw also to Isaac Chilemba, but avenged that blemish on the Froch vs Kessler II under card in Bellew’s home country of England. A title shot against Adonis Stevenson is Tony Bellew’s opportunity of a life time and hopes to land that fight is Stevenson should win against Tavoris Cloud.
