The Timothy Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez under cards are starting to take shape for October 12th from the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Going to be a blockbuster fight weekend guaranteed.
Even though the fight will be taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada one of the under cards will be a battle for Orlando. When I say Orlando I do not mean the city. However I do mean the names of the fighters. Orlando Salido (39-12-2 27 KOs), who lost his title to Mikey Garcia will face Orlando Cruz (20-2-1 10KOs), who recently became known as the first openly gay boxer. With both fighters having the same name I guess it’s a good idea the match won’t take place in Orlando, Florida.
The fight between these two will be for the vacant title that was vacated by Mikey Garcia when he fought Juan Manuel Lopez and Garcia failed to make weight. The same title that Orlando Salido once held by beating Juan Manuel Lopez twice. The same title he lost to Mickey Garcia. This is some serious soap opera type of stuff. Does Orlando Salido have the best boxing luck as this sounds like the script to a movie in the making. I shouldn’t speak too much in favor of Salido just yet as he still needs the win against Orlando Cruz to complete the story line.
Orlando Cruz has just an awesome of a story himself and will also love the story to end with wearing a nice shiny belt around his name that makes him champion.
The only way for both of these gladiators to complete their quest is to battle for and against Orlando!
