This rematch got little attention from a lot of fight fans, but why should it get any?

In the first match-up in 2008 Wladimir won by knockout in the 11th round in Hamburg Germany. The first thought that jumped in my mind when I heard of a rematch was Wladimir Klitchko would dominate in a much quicker fashion. That was definitely the case in Switzerland. Klitchko was landing more power shots and getting the job down from the start. In the 5th, a powerful right floored Tony Thompson. He got back up and did not look like he would survive the round.

After encouragement from his corner Thompson was back out there, but the encouragement would not matter. Dr. Steelhammer began to operate and Tony Thompson would find himself again on the mat. He rose again, but referee Sam Williams decided to call the fight.

TKO win goes in the books for Wladimir once again and once again there is no opponent out there that seems to have a shot for either Klitchko.
