With Manny Pacquiao supposedly set on a fourth match with Juan Manuel Marquez, Timothy Bradley has been forced to look for a different opponent too. Surprisingly, he’s not calling out Floyd Mayweather. Instead, he’s finally ready to face off against Amir Khan.

“I just want the big fights. If Khan is the big fight and we can make it happen, why not? Let’s do it,” Bradley told The Desert Sun.

Bradley vs. Khan is a fight boxing fans wanted to see last year, but for whatever reason it never happened. Khan claimed Bradley was ducking him, and of course Bradley claimed the exact opposite.

Before we can even think about seeing a Bradley-Khan fight, Amir has to get through Danny Garcia on July 14th. With Khan’s glass chin, anything can happen and we wouldn’t count Garcia out. However, we’d be surprised if Khan somehow lost the bout.

As for our thoughts on Bradley vs. Khan, it would make for one heck of a fight. Both boxers are in their primes and neither are afraid to go toe-to-toe for fan excitement. I’d give an edge to Khan based on the fact that Bradley has no punching power and Freddie Roach already proved he knows what it takes to defeat Bradley (regardless of what Duane Ford says).
